If the speed of a second-hand excavator that has been used for many years gradually slows down, this is due to normal wear and tear. The wear and tear of important components and various parts of the entire machine can cause a decrease in engine power and hydraulic system leakage, resulting in a series of faults.
Due to the leakage causing internal energy consumption, a large amount of heat energy is generated, causing the entire system to rapidly heat up. The viscosity of hydraulic oil and engine oil decreases, resulting in high temperatures in the entire system. This is manifested as the cooling of the car slightly faster and the slower it heats up. This requires a major overhaul of the entire machine, repairing and replacing parts that exceed the wear limit.
If a new excavator suddenly slows down, it should be checked from the following aspects: first check whether the circuit fuse is open or short circuited; Is the pilot pressure normal; Servo control valve - whether the servo piston is stuck; Distributor merging failure, etc; Eliminate other possibilities and then disassemble the hydraulic pump.
Excavator is powerless
There are several aspects to the overall inability of the machine. Firstly, when the external load is high, the engine slows down sharply, which indicates the following two aspects:
1. As mentioned earlier, first check the vitality of the engine;
2. Check if the hydraulic displacement complies with constant power output. Adjust the angle of the inclined plate to reduce the displacement without affecting the speed.
The second is that the engine does not slow down when the load is high, and the system speed is normal; This requires adjusting the system pressure. Due to the different hydraulic components and systems used by various manufacturers, the pressure of each hydraulic cylinder is also different. As long as it is adjusted according to the manufacturer's specified scale, it can be done. In addition, if the pressure of the relief valve cannot be adjusted and the relief valve is in good condition, it is necessary to check the regulating system of the hydraulic pump, as well as the cylinder body, distribution plate, plunger and other components of the hydraulic pump.
